3. Client Responsibilities
To complete a project properly and on time, you agree to provide the materials and access reasonably required for the work.
- Business information, written content, images, logos, and branding materials
- Timely feedback, approvals, and requested decisions
- Any necessary account access, domain access, hosting access, or platform logins
You are responsible for the accuracy, legality, and rights associated with the content you provide.
4. Payments & Billing
Projects generally require an upfront payment before work begins. If a package or agreement includes additional balances, those amounts must be paid as agreed before final delivery, launch, transfer, or handoff.
We may use Stripe or other approved payment processors to handle invoices, recurring billing, payment links, subscriptions, or card-on-file billing. You authorize charges according to the pricing and billing terms you agree to at checkout or in writing.
Failure to make timely payment may delay work, pause work, delay launch, or result in suspension of related services.
5. Hosting Terms
If you purchase a website setup + monthly hosting package or any recurring hosting service from us, your hosting will renew automatically until canceled.
- You are responsible for keeping your payment method active and up to date.
- If your card changes, expires, or fails, you must update billing promptly.
- Unpaid hosting may result in service interruption, suspension, or removal of the website from public access.
- Hosting does not automatically include unlimited website edits, redesigns, advanced maintenance, or extra development unless clearly stated in writing.
6. Revisions & Scope
Unless otherwise agreed, packages include only the revisions and deliverables stated in the package details. Work beyond the original agreed scope may require an additional quote.
Extra pages, custom features, advanced functionality, premium themes, paid apps, copywriting, ongoing edits, extra revision rounds, or other add-ons are not included unless specifically stated.
7. Delivery & Timelines
Delivery timelines begin once we have received the required materials, including content, branding assets, approvals, and access where needed.
Delays in communication, missing materials, approval delays, or client-side access issues may extend the project timeline. Estimated delivery windows are not guarantees of exact completion dates.
8. Ownership & Access
Final website access, transfer, or full handoff is provided after all agreed payments have been made in full.
Until payment is completed, Sunlight Web Media LLC may retain control over drafts, unpublished work, hosted configurations, or related deliverables.
Third-party tools, themes, plugins, apps, domains, hosting accounts, and platform subscriptions may remain subject to the separate terms and licenses of those providers.
9. Refunds & Cancellations
Setup fees and payments for completed work are non-refundable. Due to the custom nature of digital services, refunds are not guaranteed once work has begun.
Monthly hosting must be canceled before the next billing cycle to avoid future charges. Canceling hosting does not automatically create a refund for past charges or completed work.
If a project is abandoned, paused for an extended period, or canceled after work has started, fees already paid may be retained for time, labor, strategy, design, setup, and project allocation.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
Services and website content are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, perfect performance, specific ranking results, specific sales results, or compatibility with every third-party tool, browser, device, or platform.
While we aim to provide professional, high-quality work, we make no warranty that services will be error-free or that all issues can be prevented.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sunlight Web Media LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of revenue, loss of business, loss of data, or downtime arising out of or related to use of the website or services.
Our total liability for any claim related to our services will not exceed the amount actually paid to us for the specific service giving rise to the claim.
